AprilMD is named in honour of the co-founder’s mother Rosetta Solomon. She has been the steady heart of the family, radiating strength, love, and unwavering support. Her birth month, April, embodies the ethos and focus of the clinic. Just as April marks a season of growth, fresh beginnings, and renewal, the practice focuses on nurturing health through compassionate care. In family medicine, this means building lasting relationships, guiding patients through life’s seasons, and supporting their well-being with warmth and dedication. Ruth Solomon, MD
Ruth Solomon, MD, is a board-certified Family Medicine physician based in Babylon, NY. She completed her residency training at UPMC McKeesport in Family Medicine in 2017 and obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree at Ross University in 2014.
During her final year of training she was also Co-Chief Resident of her program. Dr. Solomon has extensive experience providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages. Known for her patient-centered approach, Dr. Solomon emphasizes preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and evidence-based care. She is committed to fostering long-term relationships with patients and their families, ensuring continuity of care and personalized treatment plans.
Dr. Solomon is skilled in managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, performing in-office procedures, and coordinating multidisciplinary care. Her practice is characterized by compassion, clear communication, and a strong focus on patient education and empowerment.
